With QTSv4.0.1 now being the 'latest' Firmware (for all but legacy, and TS-x79 models), I would like to know when the QNAP Turbo NAS Software User Manual hyperlinks will be updated to provide us access to the QTS v4.x: QNAP Turbo NAS Software User Manual.
Traditionally QNAP has simply provided PDF (and zipped ) versions of 'legacy' manuals, I would like to take this opportunity to respectfully request, that this practice be stopped. The on-line version of the v3.8 manual is completely hyperlinked, and has search capabilities so it if far more functional than the PDF versions, and it permits us to 'quote' from it easily within the QNAP NAS Community Forum.
Please provide on-line access to both the QNAP Turbo NAS Software User Manual (Version: 3.8 ) and the QTS v4.x: QNAP Turbo NAS Software User Manual going forward.![Turbo Turbo](https://www.idgcdn.com.au/products/image/8603/angle/8/614x480/142413/)

The work for the existing v3.8 manual is already done, so please don't remove it. Leave it 'as is' at it's present URL, and create a new URL to access the new manual. By all means change the 'hyperlinks' on both the QNAP Website, and here in the QNAP NAS Community Forum to point to the new URL, so that the QTS v4 manual becomes the default manual, but please do not remove the old manual, or change it's URL.
Respectfully,
Patrick.
PS: QNAP: Please fix the existing manual website, so we can use the image URL's within the Forum. It is silly that we need to upload QNAP Turbo NAS Software User Manual images to 3rd Party 'photo' sites, just so that we can quote them from there.

- I have updated to the latest firmware (4.1.1).
- I cannot get in from myqnapcloud, either.
- It's not the browser (I tried several) or my PC's firewall (outbound http and https are not blocked to any site).
- I know the IP address is correct; I can ssh to it. I confirmed that the internal Apache web server is running. But even from within the box, the command
just hangs, as does the same command on port 80.
- I tried http instead of https; same result.
- I tried the reset button in desperation. That reset my admin password, but didn't resolve the web problem.
- I have found no logs that help, though I may not have found them all. I temporarily added error logging to Apache, but it doesn't see my connection attempts. Though I note that upon reboot, the log level is changed automagically back to crit.
I've tried as many things as I can think of. What should I do next? There's not much on the box, I can start over from scratch if I have to.

Please 'stop' Zipping PDF files! Zipping them saves no drive space, and simply makes them harder to use. Your existing Forums software can stream PDF's to browsers, and most Web Browsers can display PDF files within the browser. Zipping them up provides no benefit to QNAP, nor to it's customers. Please provide all PDF documents as 'PDF' files.I just got a TS-451 and began setting it up using the local web address https://192.168.x.xI must have done something wrong, though, because now I cannot get into the system from a web browser; I get

It looks a little like an internal firewall issue on the NAS. Is there such a thing on the TS-451? I looked for things I am familiar with, but to no avail. (For instance, there is no iptables setup. It appears that this is only used for the VPN, though that's just surmise at this point.)User Manual Pdf
